From June 5–6, the 6th Conference of the Central and Eastern European Network for the Academic Study of Western Esotericism (CEENASWE) was held with the title "Transcriptions of Visuality." Professor Monika Bednarczuk from the Department of Comparative Studies and Editorial Work at the Faculty of Philology attended the event with a presentation on works by Lech Emfazy Stefański and Jerzy Ćwiertnia.

The conference brought together academics and artists from Croatia, Serbia, the Czech Republic, Greece, Lithuania, Germany, Poland, Hungary, and Italy. We talked about the visual and/in esoteric practices from the Renaissance to the 21st century, including the relationship between words and images, as well as the connections between literature, art, and ecology.
