The new facility will house the Faculty of Philology, the Faculty of History, the Faculty of Philosophy, the Faculty of Cultural Studies, and the Centre for Practical Foreign Language Learning. These units currently employ over 200 staff members. Nearly 1,400 students study at the humanities faculties, along with almost 60 doctoral candidates.

The campus on Ciołkowskiego Street is the largest investment in the history of the University of Białystok. The first stage of campus construction was completed in 2014. At that time, buildings for the current Faculties of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Science were built. The University’s Nature Center, Computing Center, and Culture Center are also housed within the complex. The next step was the construction of the Observatory and Planetarium building, completed in 2020. A year later, the new University Library building was also finished.
