The Humanists' Club, operating at the Faculty of Philology of the University of Białystok, invites all academic and teaching staff to participate in a brand-new media project. On June 29th, recording will begin for the premiere series of faculty podcasts, which aim to introduce the profiles of our lecturers and preserve precious memories of our current Faculty home.
This student-led initiative creates a welcoming space for casual and spontaneous conversations about the academic, teaching, and professional experiences of our university staff. A special highlight of these first recordings will be the stories and anecdotes connected to the old building of the Faculty of Philology, which our academic community will soon be leaving behind.
The Humanists' Club has prepared a unified set of questions, making participation completely informal, requiring no prior preparation, and taking only a few moments for each speaker. The collected material will serve more than just archival purposes; the series is also designed to support the ongoing student recruitment process. By showcasing the passion, knowledge, and vibrant personalities of our faculty members, we want to inspire this year's high school graduates to join our community.
The recordings will take place this coming Monday, June 29th, start at 1:00 PM. The meeting point is the 1st floor (the hall near the staircase). Our students warmly invite all faculty members to take part in this project and help co-create a unique piece of our Faculty's history.
